Van deze wijn krijgen we een beperkte allocatie. We proberen die zo eerlijk mogelijk te verdelen. Hierbij krijgen klanten die elk jaar, ongeacht het oogstjaar deze wijn afnemen en ook andere wijnen uit assortiment bestellen voorrang. Sommige wijnen zijn eigenlijk bij voorbaat uitverkocht, maar soms komt er – afhankelijk van oogst en afzeggingen – toch nog wat beschikbaar. Uw belangstelling kunt u bij deze kenbaar maken. Let op: definitieve prijs en allocatie zijn op dit moment nog niet bekend.

    Drink Date: 2021 – 2027 92 pt Richer and fleshier than the Poncié, the 2021 Fleurie Les Garants mingles aromas of plums, red berries and cherries with hints of violet and spice in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's a supple, elegantly textural wine. Jean-Étienne Chermette continues to craft one of the region's most dependable portfolios at this southern Beaujolais reference point. As I've written before, old vines, diligent but traditional vinification and élevage in foudre are the rudiments of the approach here. The younger Chermette—who has launched a label of his own in parallel, reviewed in this report—reminded me that the domaine attained Terra Vitis certification in 2018, which is definitely a step in the right direction. 2021 at this address, as elsewhere, marks a return to a lighter-bodied, more ethereal, succulent style of Beaujolais than recent warm, dry vintages have tended to deliver, but at this address, those virtues don't come at the expense of flavor or substance.
